First Shots
It was time for a new update. This update is about the 72 Corvette First Shot and the packaged Pre Sample. There was a few subtle changes from the First shot and the sample was a lighter shade of yellow from the production ones. Thank you Greenlight for doing a outstanding diecast of the 1972 Corvette.

Welcome to the First Shot page. Here, I'll try to explain what a First Shot is. A First Shot is the first cars made for the Design Team to look at the casting's body lines, pieces fitting correctly, hood opens correctly and over all look at the casting. As seen below, there's no chrome and many come with a clear top as to be able to make it into a convertible also.
Here is a Test Shot 1962 Chevrolet Corvette F1 Convertible. You will see this casting show up in Barrett-Jackson Release 3 for the first time soon. there is also a picture of the final production car below. Be looking for this and other sweet cars soon in your stores.

This casting is a 1967 Corvette and will be in the Corvette Collection in late April or early May.

Thanks for stopping,
Rick
